ACA Poster Session

Aim and Scope

The poster session will offer all ACA 2019 participants an opportunity to showcase original and innovative applications of computer algebra in research and in education. From theoretical aspects to software utilization, the scope of the poster session is broad and not limited to a specific topic of computer algebra.

The poster session gives another venue to the participants who might not find a suitable special session to present their research. Students, early career scientists, new and regular ACA attendees are welcome to show their results during the poster session.

Schedule

The poster session will be an integral part of the conference program and will be held at a dedicated time block with no concurrent special sessions. The participants are expected to stand next to their poster during the whole session and to give a short presentation (~ 5 min) to the session chairs and the ACA attendees.

Guidelines

Posters must meet the following specifications :

  • Size of the poster : A0 format (1189 mm by 841 mm or 46.8’’ by 33.1’’) or 36’’ by 48’’ (91,4 cm by 121,9 cm).
  • Orientation : Portrait or Landscape
  • Language : English

In the design of the poster, participants should pay attention to content clarity and visibility. The poster should be readable at distance of 4 feet. Therefore, it is recommended to use a large font size (90 point for title, and ~25 for text). Dark text on light background is to be preferred. We suggest to have printed information sheets that can be handed out to those viewing the poster.

Submissions

The submission guidelines and the template files for the abstract are available on the Call for Abstract webpage. Your abstract should not exceed one page in length.
Please send your abstract to the organizers, including both LaTeX source files and a compiled PDF file, before April 19, 2019 May 10, 2019 (extended).
